Sommerloch means “summer hole” in German, aka there’s no news. There actually is news, but I’m tired and for some reason have been going through old photos. Here’s a tiny sample of the amazing Neely scrapbook:

I have a weakness for Scottish bands. Though I fear the scene may be past its peak, there’s still plenty of good music coming out of there…including We Were Promised Jetpacks, a group of lads from Glasgow. It’s possible that I’m just a sucker for people with brogues who wail, but I’m rather into them at the moment.
